Safety and INclusion

We are committed to making sure that everyone that attends the Mosswood Meltdown should feel safe during the event. We will help maintain this by not tolerating harmful behaviors, which include but are not limited to non-consensual touching or verbal harassment. If someone or something makes you feel uncomfortable or unsafe, no matter how minor it may seem, please let us know. You can report it to your nearest member of our security staff or any Meltdown staff member. We are committed to working with you to help you feel safe at our event.

Our staff at Mosswood Meltdown are committed to reducing harassment of any kind, including but not limited to: race, color, national origin, gender, gender identity, gender presentation, sexual orientation, age, body size, disability, appearance, religion, citizenship, pregnancy. This means if you report harassment to a staff member or member of security, they will give you options including but not limited to keeping an eye on the person who caused harm in the crowd to ensure they don’t do it again, asking that person to leave that stage/band to give you some space, or ejecting the person from the event. We recognize we can neither control for nor prevent every incident of harm so instead, our priority is to restore safety as best we can.

Harassment includes but is not limited to stalking, verbal or physical intimidation, offensive verbal comments, physical assault and/or battery, harassing or non-consensual photography or recording, bathroom policing, inappropriate physical contact, unwelcome physical attention.

We are all here for the same reason, and, really, if you are going to be an asshole, you’re ruining the fun for everyone.
