What does the VIP pass include?
- 1 Festival Poster
- 1 Festival Tote
- 1 VIP wristband that gives you access to the festival grounds all weekend (including INs and OUTs). Wristbands will be put on your wrist when you pick up your merchandise. If you damage your wristband, it can be replaced at the festival box office for a fee. The damaged wristband must be brought to the box office.

- Separate VIP Festival Entrance
- Close-to-stage viewing area plus shaded seating for both stages
All VIP merch and wristbands must be picked up upon entry.
I can’t find my ticket / How do I download my ticket?
Our trusted partner, See Tickets, handles all of our ticketing. If you have questions about your ticket purchase, please contact them directly. To retrieve your ticket, log in to your SeeTickets account. If you have issues logging in, click HERE to contact SeeTickets for support.
What if I want to give my ticket to someone else?
Log in to your SeeTickets account, and print out your current ticket! The name on your ticket does not matter, but each ticket can only be “scanned in” once. If you have issues logging into your SeeTickets account, please contact SeeTickets support
PERSONAL ITEMS AND EFFECTS
What kinds of things are patrons NOT ALLOWED to bring into the Mosswood Meltdown?
No outside food or drink*, coolers, chairs, dogs, drugs, weapons, firearms, fireworks

What kinds of things are patrons ALLOWED to bring into the Mosswood Meltdown?
Small bags with personal belongings, towels, hats, sunscreen, small portable seat cushions etc
Will personal items be searched before entry?
Yes
May I bring a camera?
No professional photography or video, please.
Can I bring my dog or my cat? Goldfish?
No. Please leave your pets at home.
FOOD AND DRINKS
Will there be food and drinks available for purchase at the Mosswood Meltdown?
Yes, there will be a ton of incredible food vendors, with vegan options. And there are 21+ bars at the event as well.
Can I bring my own food or drinks?
No.
What about water?
Each attendee may bring two clear, sealed and unopened plastic bottles of water, as well as one empty metal canteen.

TICKETS, MERCHANDISE, MONEY
Will there be single day tickets at the door?
If the show hasn’t sold out in advance there will be a limited number of single day tickets available at noon on both days.
Are credit cards / debit cards accepted?
Yes. You will be able to purchase a ticket at the gate using a credit card. Most vendors will have the ability to process a card payment. Some vendors, including band merch, only use cash.
Are there ins and outs?
This is an all ages event with no ins and outs for General Admission ticket holders. VIP ticket holders will have re-entry privileges.
Do kids get in free?
Everyone attending the 2025 Mosswood Meltdown will need a ticket for entry, especially kids. If you bring children they will need to be accompanied by an adult at all times, and will not be allowed into the 21+ beer garden. The Mosswood Meltdown will not be supplying babysitters, so please bring children at your own discretion.
What time does ____ band play?
For the Friday pre-party, doors will open at 4:00 pm. On festival dates, doors open at 11:00 am daily. Set times will be listed closer to the festival.

Where is Mosswood Park?
Mosswood Park, 3612 Webster St Oakland, CA 94609
Mosswood Meltdown entrance is on W MacArthur Blvd between Webster and Broadway.
How can I get there by public transportation?
MacArthur BART is the nearest station. Walk east along MacArthur two blocks and you’re at Mosswood Park.
Is there parking?
There is limited parking available on adjacent streets. We strongly recommend you use public transportation, walk or bike to Mosswood Park.
What’s the weather going to be like?
This time of year is usually warm and sunny. Expect mid 70s during the day. The park has lots of shady trees as well as open, sunny areas. If you are sensitive to heat or sunlight, please take appropriate precautions such as hats and sunscreen. The temperature will drop to the mid 60s after sunset, around 8PM
What hotels or motels are nearby?
There are many to choose from. Everyone’s tastes are different. Here’s a good place to start.
Can I camp at the park?
No.
How does the festival impact Mosswood as well as the general community?
In previous years when there was an unhoused population at Mosswood Park, the festival had a very minimal effect on the Mosswood encampment. Mosswood Meltdown respected the space of the unhoused, and chose areas to set up the concert that would not interfere with the well being of the unhoused. In 2025, the City of Oakland received grant money to put up Mosswood residents at a newly purchased hotel in nearby Emeryville, about a mile away from Mosswood Park.
Over the years our team has organized multiple fundraisers and charity events for the unhoused, as well as food drives. Now that the park no longer has unhoused residents living there, we continue to support the broader Oakland unhoused community through donations and food drives. Our team also volunteers year-round at Mosswood Park for a variety of community service events.
